Churburg Castle in Schluderns
The Churburg Castle is one of the best preserved castles in South Tyrol. For it’s largest private armor collection in Europe it is world famous. 50 customized armaments are exhibited there. The centerpiece of the castle is the fairy-tale arcade corridor with unique paintings, representing fables and ancestral history.
In addition, the Jakob’s room, the ancestral hall, the old castle chapel and Jakob’s chapel are open to visitors. A tour trough the Churburg Castle is only possible with a guide. And if you’re lucky, the count will show you around personally!
